As far as nes games go this makes master blaster , Zelda 2 and battletoads look easy. There is nothing more moronic than having to do a battle every 2 seconds. I wish they could have fixed some of the things that made this game unfun. The auto battle was nice but seriously, no one is gonna play this game without looking at a walkthru.
If it wasn’t for the auto save feature this problem would have been even more annoying. Every key item earned causes the game to freeze and you need to reset to the last save. Although I beat the game, this was extremely annoying and needs a fix. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars as it was true to the original game
I’m really enjoying the game. It looks great and I’m having fun leveling up the characters. Unfortunately, it always freezes when I finish an objective. If I don’t remember to save I lose progress. I’m using an iPhone 15 pro…hopefully this gets fixed.

The job system allows you to assign roles like Warrior, Monk, or White Mage to your characters. Each job has unique abilities, and you can switch jobs later via class changes. Experiment with combinations, such as pairing a Black Mage with a White Mage for balanced offense and healing.
Use auto-battle to repeat commands for faster grinding. For tougher enemies like Warmech, toggle experience multipliers (up to 4x) to level up quickly. If an enemy dies, your characters automatically target another, fixing a key issue from the original game. Turn off random encounters to focus on story progression when needed.
