Easily the best golf game out there.

Good Start But Improvement Needed

I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of this game and am very happy to be have it on my Mac, iPad and iPhone to play whenever I want. Overall, the game graphics are really good but there are some aspects of the game play that are badly in need of tweaking and improvement. Here a a few things that I feel should be addressed in future updates: 1. Allow for specific club selection manually anywhere on the course. 2. Better detail on how much strength or power we use for each shot. Some kind of strength meter would be ideal to more precisely get the power needed to allow for the wind and elevation changes. 3. Elevation information of any kind so we can also adjust our power to meet the challenge. 4. Tournament play is good but having to earn coins is difficult and seems to be a leftover from the paid game and needs to be adjusted for the Apple Arcade version since it is a free game to play with our subscription. 5. Allow putting when near the green on the fringe. Fix these things and I would gladly give it five stars.

Great game, lots of potential

This game is a lot of fun! Some suggestions - 1. Allow us to putt from the fringe of the green, or change clubs from the rough. It’s too restrictive. 2. Different lengths of rough, watching a bouncing ball just die because it went 6 inches past the fairway is silly (unless the grass is actually that long but it should look like it then). 3. Putting is a bit of a joke, it’s way too easy at any skill level. 4. Show slopes on green, should be a grid overlay. 5. No one should be getting -29 in a single round rookie tournament, somethings broken or there’s cheating.

Enjoyable but Flawed

Overall the game is good but there are some aspects of the game that are extremely frustrating. One is the inability to select your club. In addition to this you do t use actual clubs (ie 7 iron), rather more generic clubs like short iron. I get why they might have done this but it eliminates a more nuanced play and experience. The other aspect that is frustrating is that it does not appear that players play with same the same wind conditions, which can give some players a major advantage in tournaments. This inconsistency becomes clear when you replay a round and have entirely different wind conditions that are sometimes more favourable (wind at your back). The physics between the ball flight and wind is also not super consistent. It’s not horrible but it does leave some guess when trying to aim your shot. The last beef I have is the biggest. For some reason the game will not allow you sometimes to target certain parts of the green, even though there is nothing in your way. It almost feels like the developers are purposefully trying to make the game tougher. If that’s the case it’s too bad because again it takes away from the enjoyment of playing what is otherwise a very fun game. It also raises the question of do other players experience the same restrictions on the same holes. All in all a fun game. I appreciate not having to spend money in game and the wide variety of tournaments and decent graphics are pluses.

Few suggestions

Awesome game but need tweaks to it. Few suggestions? Putting should be included in tie breaker round total. You can get in a jam but sometimes you pull off the shot. Pro shop needs more to it, the highest item is 6000 and I have probably 10 million in my bank and that’s with clicking multiple times on the 6000 coin bag. Multiple clicking for bags, balls and club cards is annoying, should have option to select how many of each you want at once. What about a 10,000 coin bag with rare items?

Best golf game I’ve ever played. Highly recommend!!

5/5 game but stuck on level three.

Really awesome game but tour three is broken so I can’t play or progress.
