Bombs will rain down onto the field instead of Garbage Puyos!
Pop the Puyos that surround them before the countdown reaches zero and the bombs explode!

That's right! Just press and hold the title screen to try it out!
โ CPUs can now use Frog Stacking.
A secret command was added that makes the CPUs use the Frog Stacking technique in Solo Mode! (Frog Stacking refers to randomly placing the Puyos into three columns on the right side of the screen.) Simply press and hold the character selection screen to activate it!
*Cannot be used with all rule sets.

I love puyo puyo. I wish it had some more difficult duels but excellent game overall.
Puyo puyo games have the greatest gameplay, better then Tetris
This game is better than Puyo Tetris 1 & 2 in all most every way. On par with the anniversary games and chronicles. It does not deserve to be stuck on a Apple subscription service, Sega better bring it to console or I will die.

Super freaking happy with this! Iโve been a Puyo Puyo fan for over 20 years now and this is absolutely incredible to have on a phone. Beautiful character models, tons of unlocks, multiplayer, suites full of modes and having all that with a console level story mode thatโs fully voiced by the VAs we love? Like Iโm just dumbfounded that they put this much effort in considering some of the mobile versions Iโve seen. This is probably one of the first games I would say is a must play on the service and if you are a fan of Puyo itโs definitely a reason to subscribe.
Rotating pieces doesnโt work despite spending several minutes trying to do it in the tutorial. Changing game settings requires double or triple the number of taps as it should. The play field is already tiny but the developer decided to put borders on the top and bottom shrinking it down even more to the size of a postage stamp. So overall this game seems to suffer from terrible user interface design.
Feels like it's one or 2 updates away from a really great game!

Use rulesets like 'Bomb,' where you must clear Puyos around bombs before they explode, or 'Spotlight,' where you match Puyos under a moving light. Experiment with Frog Stacking by holding the character selection screen to make CPUs stack Puyos randomly in three columns, adding chaos to solo matches.
Test your skills in Endless Mode, where you focus on creating chains to achieve high scores. Compete on leaderboards by clearing as many Puyos as possible without the board filling up. Try different rulesets like Puyo Puyo 2 or Fever for varied gameplay.
Climb the Madล Tower in Arcade Mode, where the map changes with each attempt, offering endless replayability. Strategize to clear Puyos quickly and efficiently to progress through the towerโs challenges and unlock rewards.
