If you have a unique character equipped in the first slot when the name customization tutorial happens, the game cannot progress. The game seems to recognize that this might be an issue, you just can’t do anything about it. I’ll work around it by swapping things, but this should probably be fixed. Update: there is no workaround. No matter what I do, the situation pops up and I’m stuck. 1 star until this is fixed.
It’s an absolutely awesome game, really brings me back to the 90’s with works Armageddon. There is a glitch with this version though where it wants me to change my team name but can’t because of a unique character

Start in the Crystal World, where visibility is high but terrain is fragile. Focus on precise aiming with bazookas to knock enemies off ledges. In Jelly World, use the bouncy terrain to your advantage for trick shots. Progress through the 12 chapters by completing missions, unlocking new weapons like the Holy Hand Grenade as you go. In co-op, coordinate with your partner to flank AI opponents.
Set up teams with mixed colors for strategic alliances. Use the Ninja Rope to access high ground quickly. In four-team battles, prioritize eliminating AI opponents first to simplify the match. Experiment with weapons in the Practice Arena before jumping into multiplayer.
Traverse five unique worlds (Crystal, Jelly, Origami, Crochet, Lava) in single-player or couch co-op. Complete over 100 missions across 12 chapters, chasing Professor Worminkle to stop his universe-destroying machines. Each biome offers distinct hazards and strategic opportunities.
Engage in chaotic battles with up to four teams, mixing friends and AI opponents. Customize team colors to form alliances and use a variety of weapons, from classic Sheep to new additions, to outsmart opponents on destructible terrain.
Jump into a Quick Match for fast-paced AI battles or head to the Practice Arena to test weapons like the Banana Bomb in a non-competitive environment, perfect for honing strategies.
