Balatro is one of the best games Ive played in a long time, and is absolutely the best mobile game Ive played in years. It’s the perfect game — simple to grasp the basic concept, but hard to master because it has amazing and well-designed strategic depth. It translate PERFECTLY to touch screen devices. It has a ton of replayability, and best of all, it’s included in Apple Arcade for free (there is also a standalone version and I love that it doesnt push IAP) This game is amazing. Dont joker around — do yourself favour and go all in and download it. It’s a sure bet youll like it.

This game is awesome. The concept of it seems strange from the outside, and to the un-initiated may not seem like a game you want to sink some time into. But if you think that, let me tell you, you are wrong, so very wrong. Balatro is probably of the best new games I’ve played in years. Trying to find a good game that works on the phone well or rather a game that is well suited for the phone is hard these days, you got games that belong on consoles and shoved into the marketplace, free to play that turns into pay to win garbage , and overpriced re-hashed, no imagination or heart non sense. But then there is Balatro, and maybe you have watched the video for it on the marketplace and have no idea what the heck your watching, cards and chips and blinking and blonking, let me assure you though this thing is tight and right. Because of the simplicity of what the base game is, it’s easy to get into, the better part of the game is just figuring out how the heck it all works together, like the tarot cards, planet cards, joker cards etcetera. Then once you know what your dealing with, you then realize this game is frigging genius and deserves the 12.00 price tag ( when I bought it ). Perfect as well for when you need to put down the phone and take care of something or if you leave it alone for a couple days , you can instantly and easily just pick up from where you left off. This game is chilled and relaxed, smooth like butter and doesn’t insist upon itself. Trying to explain to people what the game is almost impossible sometimes, and people will ask when they see you playing the same game for so long. Just tell them to buy the game and figure it out yourself, I got no time for you, just enough time to squeeze in a few hands of Balatro.
